Have you ever tried to pack up the lives of two people into a Hyundai Sonata?
No?
Yeah, us either.
Luckily my dad happens to be one smart man and suggested we use some vacuum sealed, space saver bags. Now, I realize not everyone gets so excited over this process like we did, but let me tell you, these things are magic. Okay, maybe magic is a little over the top, but they're pretty great.
We headed on over to Walmart to pick up a few:
Of course, getting distracted for a bit in the Automotive section by this little gem (for $13.96? what a steal!):
Ran home to try an XL bag for our 2 pillows, a comforter, and a handful of sheets:
Which in the bag looked like this:
And afterwards looked like this:
6 bags later the majority of our clothes and bedding went from an overwhelming mountain of cotton to a manageable stack of plastic bricks.
Now, like I said, this may not be the coolest blog post out there- but until you've used a vacuum to suck the air out of bags in about 6 seconds- you just haven't lived folks, you just haven't lived.
Tune in tomorrow to witness the before and after of the car. It's a little ridiculous.
This is GREAT! Love the cameo by Lorie...
